Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the Stellar - Daily Affirmations app ("Stellar") developed by Camm Studios. This supplements our general Privacy Policy.

1. What Data Stellar Stores Locally

All of the following data is stored locally on your device only and never transmitted to our servers:

• Your favourite affirmations and custom affirmations
• Journal entries (369 method)
• Vision board images and text goals
• Daily check-in and streak data
• Notification preferences and timing
• Onboarding completion status

We do not have access to any of this data. It never leaves your device.

2. Personal Information Collected During Onboarding

During onboarding, Stellar asks you for the following profile information to personalise your experience:

• First name
• Age range
• Gender
• Relationship status
• Employment status
• Manifestation belief level
• Areas you want to improve

This data is stored locally and is also shared with PostHog (analytics) and Superwall (paywall personalisation) to tailor your experience. It is not linked to your name or email address.

3. Photos and Camera

Stellar allows you to add photos to your vision board using the iOS Photo Picker. We only access photos you explicitly select. We do not access your full photo library. Selected photos are stored locally within the app's data container and are never uploaded.

4. Notifications

If you enable reminders, Stellar schedules local notifications on your device. These are processed entirely by iOS and do not involve any external servers.

5. Analytics and Usage Data

Stellar uses PostHog for analytics. The following anonymous usage events are collected to help us understand how the app is used and improve it:

• Screen views: Which screens you visit (Home, Journal, Profile, Settings, Vision Board)
• Affirmation events: Favouriting, unfavouriting, creating, and deleting affirmations (category is recorded, but not the affirmation text)
• Journal events: Entry submissions and completions (time slot is recorded, but not the journal content)
• Vision board events: Opening the vision board and adding items (content is not recorded)
• Onboarding events: Steps viewed, completed, and skipped
• Subscription events: Paywall views, purchase starts, completions, and restores
• Streak milestones: When you reach streak milestones
• App lifecycle: App launches and session data

PostHog does not receive your journal entries, affirmation text, vision board content, photos, or any other personal content you create in the app. Analytics data is sent to PostHog's servers in the United States.

6. Advertising and Attribution

Stellar uses the TikTok Events SDK to measure the performance of advertising campaigns. The following data may be collected and sent to TikTok:

• App events: App installs, opens, and purchase events
• Device information: Device model, operating system version, and language
• Advertising identifiers: IDFA (only if you have granted App Tracking Transparency permission)
• IP address: Used for approximate geographic attribution

TikTok does not receive your journal entries, affirmation text, vision board content, photos, or any other personal content you create in the app. Data is processed by TikTok Inc. and may be transferred to servers in the United States and other countries. See TikTok's Privacy Policy.

7. Subscription Data

Your subscription is managed through Apple's App Store and Superwall. We do not receive your name, email, or payment details.

• Superwall receives: anonymous user identifier, purchase receipts, subscription status, and user profile attributes (from onboarding) for paywall personalisation
• Superwall does not receive: your email, journal entries, photos, affirmation text, or any personal content
• Apple App Store: Processes all billing and payments directly

8. Data Deletion

To delete all your locally stored Stellar data, simply delete the app from your device. This permanently removes all content stored on your device.

To request deletion of analytics data held by our third-party providers (PostHog, Superwall, and TikTok), contact us at the email below and we will process your request.

9. Your Privacy Rights

European Economic Area (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, and port your personal data. You may also withdraw consent at any time. Contact us to exercise these rights.

California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what data is collected, request deletion, and opt out of data sales. We do not sell your personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Australian Users (Privacy Act 1988)

Australian users have the right to access and correct personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles. Contact us to make a request.
